Steve Goodman aka Kode 9 is gonna get all deep and theoretical with Ken Hollings at Cafe Oto as part of The Wire’s new series of monthly salon-type events.

If you thought dubstep was all about gobbling drugs and shocking out to Skream’s In For the Kill remix expect some condescending smiles as bearded art house types gather to talk about Afrofuturism, theories of ‘unsound’ and the  ‘politics of frequency’.

  1. uh this I would love to see but alas … different country …

    oddly enough as soon as I read afrofuturism it made me think the documentary “the last angel of history” … I checked the Steve Goodman book and what was the first thing I see? A quote from said documentary.
