Jeremy Deller and the Blackout Crew

 

 

While many right thinking people see Donk as moronic drug music it does have an unlikely champion.  Donk pin ups, The Black Out Crew, are collaborating with Turner Prize winner, political artist and serial paradist: Jeremy Deller. 

Deller’s been commissioned to organize a parade down Bolton’s Deansgate this summer and he’s planning a mish mash of everything Bolton, from ravers to ramblers.
